It's been a while since I bought a new Gibson so I guess that it is time, right?  This isn't actually a new Gibson, but it is in pretty good shape.  Here is my latest - a 2015 Gibson Les Paul ES in Cobra Burst:

I've been looking for one of these since it came out.  I absolutely LOVE the Cobra Burst finish.

It's a 2015 but it is in GREAT shape.  It is a semi-hollow body guitar in a Les Paul size.  It is VERY light.  I haven't put it on a scale but I'm guessing it's around 7-8 lbs.

It didn't show up very well in the picture, but you can see the wood grain on the back.  This is one beautiful guitar.  The best part - my wife bought it for me as a wedding anniversary present!

Congats Ben?.  It reminds me of my (and yours i believe) ES-137.. but smaller body size The best of a LP and a ES.  Enjoy it in good health and Happy Anniversay to you and your bride.

That's a really cool top!  I don't know if that's hints of spalting of the wood or what, but that's gorgeous!
