Loving the course so far! Having trouble switching between those C and G7 chords though! Some days are better than others lol. I can usually play them correctly but the problem occurs when I try and switch a couple times. I moved on to session 3 because I’m actually pretty decent in playing the individual notes but I’m wondering if I should go back to session 2 until I can play the chords for the songs at the suggested tempo? Is it to early for me to be obsessed with these two chords lol?

Enjoy the magical chord forest. I was so worried about barre chords when I tried that F Steve included in one of the early songs that I included the barre chord strengthening exercises from session 7 in my warm ups.  was relieved to find that barre chords are doable, as Steve says, but obviously I spent many hours not focusing fully on the notes. Now I'm bumping along across sessions 5-8. I still love the course: No bumping around in the dark on youtube, just straight ahead learning.

As so many have said, we each have our own way of learning! Amen.

Rock On!

Don't stress, stay on session 3 but keep practising changing between the chords.  You will be concentrating more on chords in sessions 5 and 6 😊

Sounds like you are doing well!

As Simira said above, stay on session 3 and just keep practicing the chords. Add a few minutes to the beginning and / or end of your practice and just practice switching between them.

Start our very slowly, taking careful note of how your fingers move between the chords. Then bring up the speed slowly. First do it right, then do it faster.

Have fun learning with us! :)

Still practicing them everyday! Getting a lil better too! Started doing the chords real slow to a metronome and have gradually been speeding up. Still taking my time with session 3. Thanks everyone! Almost got this When The Saints song at 120 bpm! That was pretty hard too lol!!!
