Topic: Solutions for Scale Boredom

7pm Central Time US

You can watch the lesson HERE.

Hey gang,

Learning and practicing your scales is a fundamental part of any serious guitarists routine.

But, let's face it... playing scales up and down - over and over is BORING!

What if we could play scales in ways that they actually work in music and soloing?

I'll be showing you multiple ways to approach your scales that breaks you out from the boredom and actually into better guitar playing.

PLUS, we'll have a question/answer time regarding our triad series so bring your questions and I'll help you out as much as I can.

There will be music, laughs, giveaways and more.  I look forward to seeing you there!

Watch on our Guitar Gathering YouTube Channel HERE

- Steve

Looking forward to this!

Just last week I started to revisit your Major Scales workout series! Level 1 was nice and familiar, and the basic on level two....  now I am at the intermediate and well.... seems I have forgotten a bit since I last did this workout! Lol! :)

It never hurts to revisit and review past lessons. I do that occassionally too. I was just thinking recently about reviewing the Fretboard Workout Jazz Chords series. Im sure I'll find there are quite a few shapes I've not used much and forgotten.

I just saw an email from Gruhn's and they will be closed to the public for a while.  Wonder if Steve will still do the live lesson there tonight?

Hi Steve; Could you please demonstrate and discuss the Minor Scale, Melodic & Harmonic Major and Minor Scales, and touch on Modes as well as it relates to scales and soloing?

Thank You

Neil

so happy to see that the live lesson will be on..I am so overwhelmed with so many emotions and no job for a while so I'm antsy and also worried about my grown sons who are on their own...

Glad I will be able to take my mind off of it for a while!!
