Hi all, I am having issues with my ring finger and pinky when trying the moveable G2 chord.  I wanted to ask if there’s anything to recommend to get my fingers to stretch accordingly. This is the first chord up to this point in LMG where my fingers are just not that flexible. Any exercises or other tips...thanks for reading 🎸🎼🎸

Usually what folks are told  to do is move up the neck to where you can play the shape you want, then gradually start moving down the neck to the correct location. I can also remember reading where old timers would sleep with spacers between their fingers to help their finger stretch. Tough chord, I’ve often wondered if I had the correct scale length guitar.

I've had difficulties with that particular chord too. Now I'm at the point that I can form it, just not quickly enough to use it suitably in a song....

I also used the technique Triple-o suggested. I believe I started at maybe the 6th or 7th fret where it was easier (still awkward, but easier), and move down a fret every few days.
