I recently found this very interesting and helpful. "Pay Guitar"  podcast by professional guitarist and author Lee Wayne Anderson, on Spotify music streaming service.

Every week he posts some very interesting topics, and answers questions specifically related to guitar players, beginners up to professionals. There are many weeks of past broadcasts that you can listen to.

Check it out. A Spotify account is free ( with commercials) or commercial free for a small fee.  Spotify is a great place to find terrific music of all sorts.

I've been listening to this podcast since the beginning. It's a great podcast.

Another on that I listen to is not a guitar podcast, but it does give a lot of great information on improv, practice, theory, ideas, motivation. It's very short twice a week, Mondays and Fridays. It's called The 10 Minute Jazz Lesson.

Thanks @NeilES335.

I started to check out the first episodes this week, and learned several new things.

Thanks @NeilES335. I have just listened to "Getting real success on the guitar by “getting real” " and was able to take away some ideas. "Take your fears and turn them into motivation" seems to be a common theme in many aspects of life. Personally I have a tendency to practice the songs which I can play well because they sound not too bad and it makes me feel good. I really should be practising more of the things that I cannot do well. I look forward to listening to more of these podcasts, the learning should never stop.

Available on Apple devices via the podcast app. I've been looking for something to listen to during my lunch breaks. I'll give it a try.

Some days when I don't get a chance to practice/play, I try to at least listen to some good music in the genre I'm interested currently in, read a bit of a guitar book or work on reading notation, or listen to a podcast like this one... something that is music/guitar related. It's quite interesting how much you can pick up without the guitar in your hand too.

By now, I have listened to all 100 episodes of this podcast, and I find it interesting and entertaining. It covers a wide variety of topics for guitar players of all levels.

I've listened to a couple of these, so far, and find them very informative. Thanks for sharing.
