Any advice? I have not ever recorded in GB on my iPad My old one used the the wide input, my new one uses the smaller one also used for the iPhone. I have a line 6 Sonic Port with the wider connector only, I know the other connector is available for this unit. I never tried this with GB to record. Other options?

Greg

Hello Greg, another way of doing it would be something like this. It works via the headphone port. You can plug a guitar and headphones directly into it.

I use this on my iPad Air.

Hi Greg,

i recently changed my iPad for one with the new connection port and am using the white adapter in the photo with the apogee jam. It works well and can be used for other applications.

Thanks all. I do have the Apogee jam as well and the adapter looks like a great idea.

On my early early recordings, I used the iRig 2 attachment.  Works fine on an electric!  Easy to practice with, too.
