Hi Greg.  Question:  I broke the G string on my 2008 Takamine EAN10C.  I have D'Addario EXP Coated Acoustic Guitar Phosphor Bronze Light, .012 - .053, EXP16 strings.

With the 'G" string missing will the measurements I take prior to removing the strings be accurate?

Jim,

Your measurements will be slightly off, but nothing to sweat over. I would make it a habit to only take neck,action, nut and pickup height measurements with all six strings installed and tuned to pitch.
