  1. Recently my feet got tangled up in a guitar cable when I got up to go into another room, went down fairly hard on my knees. Luckily, I was not seriously hurt. So, I started thinking about looking into wireless guitar systems. I play mostly at home, but have been participating in a blues jam once a month at a local tavern. While checking the different systems with price in mind and the fact I'm not going to be playing at Madison Square Garden or Carnegie Hall anytime soon, I came across the U2 Xvive wireless guitar system. There is a video on Guitar Center on this system. Its range is a 100 feet. I have had mine a few days and used it with 3 different guitars, Strat, Telecaster and ES 355 with 3 different amps, Blues Junior, Mustang II and Champion 600. I can sum up the performance by saying I love this system,. its perfect for what I do.The sound through the amps is great! It could not be any simpler, plug the transmitter in the guitar and the receiver jack in the amp input, and you are in business! The black system is $154.90, the other colors are 5 dollars less. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to be wireless on a small budget. The only thing to be aware of is that it does not work with an acoustic guitar that has a battery operated preamp onboard the guitar, I can only guess it cancels out the signal somehow. Dan Brown ?
