Here's a Christmas classic I think you'll enjoy learning and playing for youself and family. Intermediate and advaced players manage this well.

A very popular hit by the great Stevie Wonder from his album of the same name in 1969. Not a really difficult song... most late intermediate and advanced students should be able to handle this one!

ps The recorded version has an intro, and a 3rd verse where the key goes up a half step to Ab from Gmaj. This is not noted on the Lead Sheet.

Note that in these chord charts, the view is from the 6th string on the bottom, and the red dot indicates the root note! (this could be backward to what you're used to seeing)

It is one of the most performed and recorded popular songs, with hundreds of versions released. BMI rates "Sunny" #25 in its "Top 100 songs of the century".[1] It is also known by its first line: "Sunny, yesterday my life was filled with rain".[2]
