  1. Amen! Although, I don't think I could drive around Nashville during the summer with my air conditioner turned off 🙂 I am going to work on getting up earlier to practice. Thanks for having Joe on Live Lessons.
  2. Since you have a music background, I would pick up where you left off and use the first two sessions as warm-up exercises. Glad you are back and good luck!
  3. Great looking guitar Mark! Are you bringing it to the conference?
  4. That is a great DVD - I highly recommend it as well. And if you want to go the extra mile, I also highly recommend Greg's fretwork and setup class. He used to conduct them in Nashville - I believe he is only offering them in Nazareth, PA now.
  5. I have been following your blog and was sorry to hear that the tumor has returned. You will be in our thoughts and you will be missed!
  6. My best advice is to: Go slow Break what you are learning down into very small components - and master each component before moving on Play what you are learning with others Keep at it! Best of luck!
  7. Wow - very nice, I am impressed! Looking forward to seeing your next project!
  8. Very cool guitar Ben - congrats!
  9. Great guy, great guitars, great stories, just too much for one night. You need to get him back to do a series of sessions: Rick Derringer - The Early Years Rick Derringer - Stories You Just Won't Believe Rick Derringer - (I think you get the idea.) 🙂 You did a great job!
  10. Yep - Artisan will always be my favorite (great customer service - and they did something very kind for me once - but that is another story) - but Gruhn is one of the guitar treasures of the world. And it is not only the guitars - stick around a while and talk to Mr. Gruhn (ask him anything about guitars or ask him to see his snakes - they really are pretty interesting) or Greg Voros (he gets my vote for the coolest guy on the planet). Also - I believe that Germantown Guitars is now closed. Less than 60 days away!
  11. Gene - Last year, the itinerary was finalized a couple weeks before the conference. I would look for it sometime in May.
  12. That is a great collection of instruments! Thanks for posting!
  13. Wow - wow - wow! It is looking like this conference may top last year's conference (which was the best conference ever)! Heading to Nashville in 75 days!
  14. Awesome - congratulations! And I am ready to hear the story of the exploding Princeton!
  15. Your Guitar Sage hosted a great show on Facebook (How to Become a Fingerstyle Guitarist - Must Faster than You Think) featuring our very own Collin Hill. Lots of great information. You can find it here: https://www.facebook.com/yourguitarsage/videos/345460119415652/
  16. John - If I have to get old (and I am well on my way there) - I want to grow old like you. You are one of my guitar heroes! Here's to long life and sagging eyelids!
