I am a 56 year old musician. Two years ago I was diagnosed with advanced heart failure. I live on a heart pump and am waiting for a heart transplant. I never gave up on the guitar. When I regained my health I began gigging and teaching again. I am basically a freelance guitarist and play many genres of music. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Performance and Photography. I also play the drums, harmonica, some banjo and sing. Guitar has been my main instrument for thirty plus years minus the health issues. I enjoy everything from Jazz standards to County Chickin Pickin. I love to learn and feel there is always more practice and learning to be done. My wife and I have an acoustic/folk to Jazz tunes style show. I also have a 6 piece electric band. "Operation Loren and the Transplants"  I think the name speaks for itself. I love music, performing and learning. I have a podcast starting titled "Guitars & Golf Less is always More w/ Loren Vinal" Well I guess that is more than enough information..
