  1. I think most of us have had problems with the Octave jumps. After reading your posts I went back to see if I could complete it error free. I failed miserably. Felt like I was playing an 8 string guitar with moving frets. I was reading my Acoustic Guitar January 2018 yesterday when I came across an interesting article on playing faster by practicing slowly. Here is the link if you're interested. http://acousticguitar.com/video-lesson-learn-to-play-fast-by-practicing-slowly/?utm_source=Acoustic+Guitar&utm_campaign=bb28dbf134-AGN_RSS_EMAIL_CAMPAIGN&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e3d13d8433-bb28dbf134-73770213&mc_cid=bb28dbf134&mc_eid=6c94c50776 Tim.
  2. Hi Tpettygirl. My suggestion is to practice chord changes painfully slow. There is no need to be fast while you try to get your fingers working. Watch closely where your fingers are going. When this starts to feel comfortable close your eyes while making the chord changes. Using slow changes will help build muscle memory and in no time you'll notice that your finger placement will be dead on. Tim.
