  1. It's closing in on 20 years since I bought a guitar and the DVD course Learn and Master Guitar. I was just 28 years old starting out. Having no talent what so ever, it felt impossible to play chords, let alone switch between D and C major while strumming. I don't remember when I finished the course, but I know it took a couple of years. After that I sailed aimlessly for years until I just stopped playing. The pause would take five years out of my guitar journey. Last year I spontaneously answered a notice for a rhythm guitarist in a brass ensemble. And just like that I'm back in the game more active than ever. Six months later I join a cover rock band and is now playing jams and even have a small gig looming in June. It's funny how things turn out. 😄
