  1. Hello everyone, this months Recording Challenge comes from Neil ES335 it is Hope, Peace, & Love Neil said "I propose songs in the theme "Hope, Peace, & Love"... something the world desperately needs, especially right now." 2. I worked in the Marine Engineering field including commercial diving operations. Our crews traveled the world, usually in remote locations like the arctic. This required a thorough knowledge of CPR and advanced outpost first aid. I acquired the instructor certifications for CPR and First Aid to train the workers and divers on the worksites. I will brag a bit that in the 34 years of managing the business, there was never a serious accident. Henk

  3. Welcome @Jay.A ! You picked a great guitar family for your 🎸learning journey👍. Your experince of a long hiatus and return to guitàr is like many folks here including me. For a course of study I highly recommend Stdve Steve Krenz's Learn and Master Guitar program.. As a graduate of the course, I started about 9 yrs ago basically from scratch and am now playing at an advanced level. You can too. THE course is available in our store here. Dont forget to check out Live Lessons with Steve , on our You Tube channel! Enjoy the journey; Neil

  4. Santa came early and delivered this beautiful Taylor E14ce. This is a limited model, originally only available to dealers at Taylor’s Roadshows. The back and sides are West African Ebony, and the top is Sitka Spruce. It's very balanced with great sustain and clarity, and very responsive. The highs just ring, with a pure, fat tone, especially when you dig in. If I had to describe it in one word, I’d say “powerful.” I play acoustic almost exclusively fingerstyle, with bare fingers, and this guitar can get incredibly loud. It really shines when played hard. Love this guitar.

  5. Thanks @gotto, @Nutty 1 and @IanD for you nice comments. I saw Tommy E. explain in a video that he heard Chet Atkins play this song through a radio in 1967 and that this inspired him to learn fingerstyle. Wim.

  8. When I watch Tommy E. play this, I always get a smile on my face. So I hope I can pass the good vibes this song gives me on to all of my guitar friends here. Wim.
