I have been working on this exercise with a hybrid classical guitar.This morning I tried it with a steel string acoustic and found it to be a lot easier.The narrower neck made it easier to place my fingers. It did take a some practice to adjust to the nut width, since the nylon string guitar has become my “go to guitar” . Hope to have a short scale (24.9 and a 1 3/4 nut )steel string acoustic in the future. Making the switch back and forth easier.
