  1. I recently saw that the Gibson site is posting more lessons by Arlen Roth. These are similiar to the lessons Steve used to do for Gibson. Nice short videos on one subject including tabs and MP4 videos. So far there are 23 pages with about 5 free lessons per page. I have been working on these for the past 3 weeks and have been through over 30 of the lessons so far. I have found several that I really like and of course the price is right. Wish Steve was still doing these. (Glad I printed most of his lessons before they took them down.) Here is the link: http://www.gibson.com/Lessons/Arlen-Roth-Lessons/Search.aspx?type=lessons&page=1

  2. The other day I had the privilege of meeting Tommy Emmanuel and like all of you I surf (old term but I'm old guy) the web ... especially YOU TUBE ... I found this interview. This interview I believe answers many a question and like the individual who originally posted it ... the BEST Interview. Enjoy ... Tommy Emmanuel - The Best Interview (wywiad dla INFOMUSIC).mp4

  3. I've had my Taylor 712-CE--ebony fingerboard--for over twelve years and have never used oil or conditioner on it. Looks good and plays good. I do dust it once a year. Lotsa luck.

  6. I got some of the Professor Green's products at the last Gathering and I really like them. Bonus - they smell great! I use fretboard oil maybe two or three times a year on a guitar. Probably overkill, but I worry about living in a dry climate too. In any case my fretboards all seem to be doing great

  7. Hello all, I have to say I agree with everyone above, starting foremost with Steve! Like Steve, I've been known to drop an F bomb here and there, but as I get older, less and less. However, I can honestly say I've always known when salty language was not appropriate by any means! And this forum, just the L&MG forum before it, is not the place for foul language, and/ or political talk or statements, we all here because of our unconditional love for the guitar and music ! Let's make sure it stays that way, this is our sanctuary away from all that stuff !!!! Dan Brown ?
